These Terms of Service govern your use of Portugal Papers services operated by Okno - Documentação e Prestação de Serviços, Lda. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Services Description

Portugal Papers provides procurement and preparation of Portuguese documents, apostille and legalisation, certified translation, civil-registry procedures, and related document and civil-status legal support. We act between clients and the competent Portuguese authorities.

Order Process

When placing an order:

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You authorize us to act on your behalf with relevant institutions
• Processing times are estimates and may vary based on institutional workload
• You will be notified of any delays or issues with your order

Pricing and Payment

Our pricing terms:

• All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes
• Payment is required before processing begins
• For standard document services, ordinary official fees are included in the displayed price unless the relevant service page states otherwise
• We accept major credit cards and bank transfers
• For legal and special procedures, court, registry, consular or other material third-party fees may be charged separately and are shown on the relevant service page; physical delivery is charged separately unless expressly included

Refund Policy

Refunds are available if we are unable to complete your request due to circumstances within our control. Government fees paid on your behalf are non-refundable. Partial refunds may be issued if processing has already begun. Each case is evaluated individually.

Client Responsibilities

As our client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Respond promptly to our requests for additional information
• Not use our services for any illegal purposes
• Pay for services in a timely manner

Limitation of Liability

Portugal Papers is not liable for delays caused by government institutions, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
