Documents we request
Common requests include diplomas, degree certificates, transcripts of records, certificates of qualifications, academic declarations, diploma supplements and course-completion documents.
Portuguese universities use different names and portals for these records. You do not need to know the exact Portuguese label before contacting us.
How the retrieval works
We identify the institution's academic service, confirm the document type and prepare the request.
Where the university allows representation or remote delivery, we manage the request and collection. Where the former student must use a personal portal or sign a direct request, we prepare the exact step for you and take over the rest of the file.
Apostille after retrieval
If the document will be used abroad, we move it directly into the correct apostille route.
For private higher education documents, IES authentication comes before apostille. IES, I.P. is the current successor to DGES. Public higher education documents follow the public-document route.
Translation and delivery
We add certified translation and international courier when you need them.
The goal is simple: one request to Portugal Papers, one completed academic document package.
What to send us
Start with the university name, course, your full name while studying, approximate study dates and the document requested by the foreign authority.
If you only have an email or checklist from abroad, send that instead. We identify the Portuguese document from the requirement.
