FCPC
The FCPC certificate focuses on central legal entity data: NIPC, name, registered office, CAE, legal form, object, capital where applicable and current status.
It is an electronic, continuously updated official record.
Commercial Registry
The Certidão Permanente de Registo Comercial gives access to the entity's commercial registrations and pending registration requests.
It is the main corporate legal record for company verification and current registered acts.
Which one for a tender
The official FCPC service specifically states that the certificate is sufficient for certain public procurement purposes.
A tender checklist can still request additional commercial registry, criminal record or representation evidence. We build the full tender file from the actual list.
Which one for KYC
KYC teams usually start with the Commercial Registry and add statutes, RCBE and other supporting company evidence.
FCPC is useful when the file separately wants official entity identification and status data.
