Diplomas are not all processed the same way
A diploma from a Portuguese public higher education institution sits on a different apostille path from a document issued by a private higher education institution.
Public educational documents are public documents for apostille purposes. Private higher education documents require prior authentication through the Instituto para o Ensino Superior, I.P. (IES, I.P.), the successor to DGES, before the apostille stage.
What we handle
We review the diploma, identify the institution, prepare the IES authentication step, arrange the apostille and add certified translation when the destination needs it.
If you no longer have the correct diploma or certificate, we obtain a fresh academic document from the Portuguese institution first.
For work, study and professional recognition
Portuguese diplomas are commonly prepared for foreign universities, professional bodies, employers, immigration files and credential-recognition procedures.
Send us the requirement you received abroad. We turn it into the Portuguese document route.
Paper and electronic files
The document format determines the apostille format. Digitally issued Portuguese public documents follow the electronic apostille route. Paper academic documents follow the paper route.
If the destination works better with a physical file, we build the paper document chain from the beginning.
Translation and delivery
We add certified translation to the same order and ship paper originals worldwide.
You receive one finished academic document set ready for the next authority.
