Portuguese commercial registry records contain the company's registered corporate acts, including management and representation entries recorded for the entity.
For a simple proof request, the current commercial registry certificate is the starting point. For a deeper file, we add the registry documents behind the appointment or corporate act.
When statutes matter
The articles of association set the company's constitutional rules for governance and representation.
If a bank, lawyer or notary wants both the current officeholder and the rule that gives them authority, we provide the current registry evidence plus the latest statutes.
Appointment and corporate records
A foreign file can ask for appointment resolutions, meeting minutes or another supporting act.
The registry + documents certificate gives access to electronic documents that served as the basis for registered acts. We use that deeper source when the checklist asks for the underlying corporate record.
For banking, KYC and transactions
Proof of directors and representation is a standard piece of bank onboarding, KYB, powers of attorney, transactions, litigation and due diligence.
We combine it with ownership, company status and other Portuguese records in the same file.
