Portuguese Company Good Standing Documents

A foreign bank, lawyer or authority asking for a Certificate of Good Standing from a Portuguese company? Send us the request. We build the Portuguese evidence package that answers it.

You can start with just your email. We will confirm the remaining details with you.

Portugal uses different documents

Portugal does not use one standard Commercial Registry product literally titled "Certificate of Good Standing".

Foreign institutions use that phrase for different questions: is the company registered, is it active, who represents it, are there dissolution or insolvency entries, are taxes clear, or is a criminal record required? We build the evidence around the real question.

Core registry status

The current Certidão Permanente de Registo Comercial is the starting point for legal status and current commercial registrations.

FCPC adds the legal entity's central registration data and status. Together they answer much of what foreign teams mean by basic company standing.

Compliance add-ons

A broader good-standing request can include a tax debt certificate, company criminal record, annual accounts or RCBE evidence.

Portugal Papers already handles these document families. We combine them instead of pretending one Portuguese certificate proves everything.

Directors and ownership

When the request also wants current directors, legal representatives or beneficial owners, we add the commercial registry, statutes and RCBE evidence.

Ready for foreign filing

We add certified translation, apostille or other authentication and delivery.

Send the exact words "good standing" from the foreign checklist. We turn them into a Portuguese company document package.
