What the annual accounts certificate contains
Portuguese annual accounts bring together accounting, tax and statistical information filed through the Informação Empresarial Simplificada, known as IES/DA.
The public information from the filing is stored in the Annual Accounts Database, BDCA, and can be accessed through the official annual accounts certificate.
A separate corporate document
Annual accounts are not included in the commercial registry + documents certificate. Portugal treats them as their own certificate product.
That distinction matters when a foreign due diligence team asks for both corporate records and financial statements. We obtain both instead of sending the wrong registry access code twice.
English and Portuguese
The official annual accounts certificate is available in Portuguese and can also be obtained in English.
If the receiving institution needs a certified translation rather than the registry's English output, we prepare that too.
For due diligence and finance
Annual accounts are used in acquisition reviews, counterparty checks, lending, investor analysis, litigation, corporate valuation and compliance work.
Tell us the company and the financial years you need. We prepare the right request.
One corporate file
We combine annual accounts with current registry records, articles of association, RCBE evidence, FCPC data and other company documents.
Foreign counsel can send one checklist and receive one coordinated Portuguese document response.
