What the certificate proves
The Certificate of Admissibility confirms that the proposed company name or legal entity designation can be registered in Portugal.
It is issued electronically and comes with an access code.
When it is used
The certificate is used for company incorporation when a reserved name is required, and for specified corporate changes such as changing the company name, moving the registered office to another municipality in the relevant cases, or changing the corporate object.
Official validity and fees
The certificate is valid for three months.
The current official fee is €75 for a regular request and €150 for an urgent request. Portugal Papers' professional handling is quoted separately before we start.
